Replacement jack fit and worked perfectly
Fast delivery

Jayco camper came with stabilizing jacks in the rear but none in the front. After wife complained that my walking around in the camper in the morning made the bed feel like a water bed I installed these jacks. They work perfect, easy and fast to deploy and camper is now solid when parked.

Jayco camper came without stabilizing jacks on the front of the trailer. these jacks work perfect, are strong and durable.

by:

Very solid and well built, exceeded my expectations. Mounted tonight and the camper is now solid as a rock when parked. It only had rear stabilizers previously and at 19 feet needed the stability in the front. Wifey says previously it felt like she was on a water bed when I was walking in the back. Not any more!

Working Perfect, keeps our trailer stable when we’re camping.

by:

Great heavy-duty replacement for the lower performance jacks provided by the OEM on the trailer

by:

Hope you got the picture I attached to this review. The reason my husband purchased this scissor jack was to help lift our drift boat off the trailer to release into the water. This past week we were finally able to get the boat out on the water, and he was very happy with how it performed. My husband understands that this was not its intended use, but it worked fine (with some modification).

by:

Hit a chunk of Semi tire on my trip from Wisconsin to Texas.
It bent up the rear passenger stabilizer and the lead screw too. The damaged stabilizer was labeled "Model Number J-2500"

I ordered this unit and it only took about 10 minutes to swap out. This worked great, good price and fast delivery.
I will buy from this company again the next time i run something over!

by:

Easy to install and does what it's supposed to do.

by:

Nice and sturdy

by:

Quality part with fast delivery. I am very satisfied with my purchase. And I will buy again from a trailer. Greg.

by:

I ordered (4) 6500# rated jacks for our 33’ travel trailer which originally had flimsy 2500# rated jacks. The original jacks had some issues from the previous owner of the trailer and I am sure I made matters worse by not setting up correctly.
I went a little overboard on the new jacks because I want a much sturdier setup. Installation was a snap, probably took about 8 minutes per jack.
As usual, I received excellent service from etrailer including fast shipping and secure packaging.
Love doing business with these folks and I highly recommend that you give them a chance to serve your needs.

These jacks are working great. No issues at all.

by:

could have purchased for half price at harbor freight

by:

I bought this as a replacement jack for my Nissan Frontier. I love that it is a large jack and the spindle spins easily. I have not had to change a flat tire yet, but did check out the action. Hopefully this jack will last a long time due to its lifting capacity. Thanks to the folks at etrailer.com for coming through again. I have purchased different types of products from them over the past few years and have never been disappointed.

This scissor jack is meant for only for stabilizing despite their weight capacity and are not meant to raise a vehicle or trailer to change a tire. I recommend using a part like part # ALL620471 instead. I know it is more money however it is a safer to use.

by:

This worked perfectly and installed eas ily.

by:

Can't wait to install the new stabilizer jacks on my 2011 33 ft trailer. They look great.

Flawless

by:

The is exactly what I wanted low profile and very strong. The scissor jacks should stand up to the long exposures it will endure when installed. A little more expensive but we'll worth the expected longevity.
Much better built then the junk that came with our trailer.
Only pitfall with these units is they come without instructions regarding installation. If you have not got the ability to understand how to install without instructions want to check out the cost of installation for final purchase cost.

by:

These jacks were perfect with great weight performance and ease of lifting. The mounting pads are large with many mounting holes to choose from. These are the easy way to stabilize a 38' trailer without crawling underneath to place screw jacks. Now I just crank them down at setup and I'm done with easy adjusting during my winter stay.

by:

Product ordered works great. It would be helpful, however, if when
viewing the specific item being reviewed, the description also would indicate that this item provides universal applications. I didn't know if it would fit my specific travel trailer until I actually received the item and attempted to install.
Great response time from time of order to receipt of product. I like also having a phone number provided so personal contact is available.

by:

I bought this jack for a Jayco Octane 222. It worked flawlessly. I was able to mount it without any modifications. You will need to supply your own bolts. One odd thing about the jack is it has a left hand thread screw, rather than right hand like most jacks, but that isn’t a big deal to me. I have used it heavily for about a year now and have had no issues with its performance.

by:

Great looking jack and very well built. I am very pleased with it's construction, and ease of use. I just wish I had the speed nut.

Still working great!

by:

Bought 4, all working fine after 1 year. I might have got lucky with my Timber Lodge, but bolt pattern matched old jacks so I didn't have to weld/tap anything

Still good. No issues.

by:

so far so good.
They look sturdy and
heavy duty.
I am anxious to try them out on my motor home.
I am little disappointed that they are not strong enough to actually jack up the vehicle, but I will use my old hydraulic jack and support with your scissor jacks.

by:

Excellent quality jack. Great price, excellent price, and supper fast delivery, what more could a guy want.

great jack and a great price works out well very happy

by:

Jack fit perfect, much stronger than the
original one that came on travel trailer.
Very satisfied with this jack.

by:

This scissor jack does exactly what I need it to do. It's sturdy and bolted right on. The worm gear is nice and stiff which prevents slipping.
As for etrailer, it's rare to have a company follow up with you throughout the purchasing/shipping process. Many other online retailers could learn a thing or two from you guys. Kudos!

by:

I recieved this stabilizer jack faster and cheaper than if I would have driven to the RV dealer.
The quality is much better than the factory jacks that came with my 27 foot Summerland Trailer
Wish I had 3 more to put on

  • Recommended Stabilizer Jack For A 2020 Keystone Hideout
Manufacturers do not list the parts they use so there's no way for us to know what brand your old stabilizer is but you can remove the mounting brackets from the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack # UF48-979006 and bolt them to the welded on brackets you already have. This is a fairly common practice with bolted on options to avoid having to drill new holes in the frame.

  • Scissor Jack Stabilizer Jack Compatible with 8,000 lbs
Scissor jacks are stabilizing jacks and not intended for lifting. Their rated capacity is only for stabilizing. We have kits with capacities above 8,000 lbs but the largest support capacity for a single jack is the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack - 24" Lift - 6,500 lbs # UF48-979006 or the 30 inch lift # UF48-979032. So if you use one on each side of your trailer that gives you a 13,000 lb support capacity at that location since you wouldn't put it on one side and not the other.

I went out to the warehouse and pulled an Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack, # UF48-979006, to take some measurements for you. The overall length of the jack when fully retracted is 26 inches, so from the middle to either side it would be 13 inches. I also measured the mounting surface. From the outside of one side to the outside of the other is 1-1/4 inches and each side is 3-1/2 inches front to back. The mounting holes are 1 inch apart on center for the round holes and 1-1/4 inches apart...

  • Are Mounting Holes of Trailer Mounted Stabilizing Jacks Universal
I can't say that they're universal but many are compatible. I've provided you with a photo showing the hole spacing so you can compare your brackets to see if the Stromberg Carlson # JSC-24 stabilizing jacks will fit. Ultra Fab also offers a similar jack # UF48-979006, I've also provided the hole spacing for that one as well. As you can see, the mounting holes are similar. • Is There a Difference Between Ultra Fab Scissor Jacks and Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks
There really isn't a difference between the intent and purpose of the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack # UF48-979006 and the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks # LC285326. One just has the word Stabilizer in the title and the other does not. These are 3-3oz cartridges made to use with a grease gun like # L30-132-07 to apply the grease. You can use it out of the tube without a grease gun if you wish. This jack welds or bolts (with hardware you supply) on to your trailer or RV frame. As long as these jacks' 6,500-lb capacity is adequate for your trailer or RV you can use a set as you describe.
